Slack context, one calm layer.
FounderOS for Slack connects the conversations you choose to your Situation Room and daily briefings. Donna reads across Slack alongside your other tools — and never posts back without your explicit approval.
AI disclaimer
FounderOS uses AI (OpenAI GPT-4o) to generate summaries, briefings, and suggested actions. AI outputs may be inaccurate — always review before acting on them.
Slack message content is only sent to the model when you trigger an AI feature (e.g. a daily briefing or Donna chat). We do not use Slack data to train shared models. OpenAI processes requests under a zero-retention API agreement — prompts and completions are not retained beyond the request.
See our Privacy Policy and Security page for full details on data handling and AI safety.
Three steps to connected context
01
Install & connect
Add FounderOS to your Slack workspace, then sign in to FounderOS and authorize Slack from Settings → Integrations.
02
Choose your channels
Sync the public channels, private channels, and DMs you want in your operating context. We only read what you can already access.
03
Get briefed in FounderOS
Slack context flows into your Situation Room, venture pages, and daily sync — alongside Linear, Gmail, and Calendar.
What we don't do
- We do not train shared AI models on your Slack message content.
- We do not DM your team, post to channels, or use @channel / @everyone without an action you explicitly approve.
- We do not join channels automatically after installation.
- We do not persistently store Slack message bodies — only metadata (IDs, timestamps, authors, permalinks) is cached.
